Provincial licenses and W.I.N will be purchased upon arrival by the client. Firearms declaration and airfare are also the hunters responsibility. Wolf is included with ALL hunts at the cost of the provincial license. Transportation while hunting is provided., including to and from airport. Classic Mountain Hunts Prices do not include goods and services tax (5%) of Alberta.
Sheep Hunting is done from various back-country camps and will involve both travel by horseback and on foot. You can expect to see sheep every day. Hunters have had 100% opportunity on legal rams and currently the success rate stands at 80%. A four fifths ram is considered legal in this area. This can be a demanding hunt but the reward is great!
This is a 10 day hunt with the average class being 50 inch plus bulls. This can be done with archery, muzzle loader or a rifle. There are only four available moose hunts each year. This hunt is done from either a back-country camp with horses or straight from our cabins by truck, ATV and foot.

Elk hunting can be done in one of two areas. Either a six-point zone or a three-point or better zone.

Most hunters combine a big game animal with a mule deer tag and or black bear tag. Adding a moose hunt into the mix is a great way to get the best bang for your buck. As a bonus to all of our clients, the timber wolf is included with all hunts!
A wolf hunt is included with the sale of all of our regular hunts offered. The cost you pay is to Alberta licensing, added at time of arrival when you purchase your primary hunting licenses. With the Wolf license, there is no limit to the number of Wolves you are able to harvest. Currently a C.I.T.I.ES permit is still requires to export this animal. We have a taxidermist who will prepare the wolf for shipping and look after all the necessary paperwork. You are welcome to choose any taxidermist in Alberta to complete this work. This will also be an additional cost to you.
The Deer hunts are conducted in the same mountain areas as the other hunts, with lots of spruce and pine forest, these hunts would most likely be conducted in November during the rut although they could be done earlier. You can expect deer in the 130-170 category that are large bodied. The Deer hunt alone only would be done from our cabins by way of horses, spot/stalk, still hunting and calling.
By combining the hunts available you increase your chances of harvesting an animal.. Most Hunters combine a big game animal with a deer tag at a reduced price. Costs for combination Hunts are decided through outfitter and hunter agreements.
